Not sure what I feel my cat was sick and it was going to cost $1,500.00 to get test for my cat. I was sent home with ear drops and antibiotics for him. He didn't get better I didn't have that amount but had to pay $500.00 for the visit and meds. Since I didn't have money to bring back my cat. It's been two months, he died yesterday so I didn't have money for getting him help him as he was dying. He laboured in his breathing. There should be some kind of help out there instead of having to watch your cat die in a hard way. It just seems to be all about money. I don't think I can get another pet after ten year of having a cat to watch it go in a bad way. I hope there would be funds for these kind of tragedies my daughter is in devastation.
My Ollie has been going here for years, from his annual checkups to anything else he has needed along the way. I’ve always felt like they truly care about him and I know he’s in good hands when he’s there. Everyone has always been kind, caring, and helpful. When it comes to your pets, having a place you trust with them means everything. I wouldn’t want to take Ollie anywhere else.
They let their employees get on social media, and bully people. Send them really nasty messages, and have photos half naked on their profiles while out at clubs. It's very unprofessional.. If I was a owner of a business I wouldn't want anyone working for me like that.
DO NOT TRUST DR. ASHLEY FRENCH OR THIS CLINIC WITH A LIFE-OR-DEATH EMERGENCYI am heartbroken and disgusted by the cruel, financially-driven treatment my family and our dog, Rusty, received at Neel Veterinary Hospital from their Medical Director, Dr. Ashley French. We brought Rusty in for emergency care because he was severely injured with an open hole in his neck that was actively leaking infected fluid. The staff explicitly categorized him as a "Yellow" triage level—meaning his condition was urgent and severe. They sedated him, put him on oxygen, gave him an IV line, and administered an IV antibiotic while cleaning his wounds.Once Rusty was sedated and vulnerable, Dr. Ashley French presented a treatment plan totaling over $5,000 and demanded the money entirely upfront. When we explained we didn’t have that kind of money immediately available, the staff's demeanor completely shifted. They treated us like scum. The nurse condescendingly lectured us about how they had to pay their own staff and bills, refusing any form of a payment plan, and the staff cruelly accused us of wanting Rusty’s treatment done for free.We explicitly begged Dr. French to keep Rusty because we knew he would die without help. Dr. French looked us in the face, ignored our pleas, and told us that without upfront payment, she was reversing Rusty's sedation and sending him home with us anyway.Worst of all, Dr. French discharged a critical, "Yellow-level" emergency patient with an open, infected neck wound with ABSOLUTELY NO TAKE-HOME PAIN MEDICATIONS, NO ONGOING ANTIBIOTICS, AND NO WRITTEN PRESCRIPTIONS. She woke him up from anesthesia and sent him out the door to suffer in agonizing pain because of a financial barrier. We fought desperately to save him and were actively approved for emergency financial assistance through The Bella Foundation, but the clinic's refusal to stabilize him or even provide a basic prescription took a fatal toll. Rusty collapsed on our living room floor and took his last breath in my husband's arms the night before we could get him to a follow-up appointment.I am filing formal complaints with the Oklahoma Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. Dr. Ashley French chose to abandon a critical patient and leave an animal in agonizing pain rather than show a shred of human decency or professional ethics. If you love your pets, do not trust this facility when their lives are on the line. They care about upfront cash, not the lives of your animals.
